This past Saturday, December 3rd, the Albany All Stars Roller Derby team powered through the Broome County Rollers at the Washington Avenue Armory. There was live music by The Deadbeats, lots of giveaways, and a good turnout. Check out the photos below:

It’s that time of the year to see who will have bragging rights in Downtown Albany!  That’s right, the Siena Saints will take the floor against the UAlbany Great Danes in Men’s College Basketball on December 5th, 2011 at 7:00pm at the Times Union Center.
Last year the Great Danes beat the Saints in Overtime with a score of 88 – 82.  See AlbanyAlive’s recap here.
Will the Great Danes win two in a row or will the Saints bite back and retain the local crown?  Either way it will be one heck of a game.
