2010 Saratoga Brewfest to benefit Saratoga PLAN
On Saturday June 19th, 2010 join over thirty different beer brewing companies at the first annual Saratoga Brew Fest. The event starts at noon and runs until 6pm. All proceeds will go to Saratoga PLAN. Tickets for Saratoga Brew Fest can be purchased at the Saratoga City Tavern in Saratoga, Brown’s Brewing Company in Troy, and The Factory in Ballston Spa. This is a 21+ event. Proper ID is required to enter. Designated driver tickets will be available at the gate.

A locally run organization directly helping with land and natural resource preservation in Upstate NY and the greater Capital Region area. Propeties include:

The event is being held at Elms Family Farms on 446 Charlton Road Ballston Spa NY 12020. General admission is $30 and exclusive VIP tickets are $75. General admission grants you access to the event and includes a four hour sampling, with live music and entertainment. VIP admission includes all of the general admission perks plus an exclusive beer and wine tasting lunch with guest speaker Greg Egnert, the beer director for Neighborhood Restaurant Group.
Greg travels the World to find the best beers available for his customers, specializing in domestic microbrews and international rarities that are not easily accesible in the United States. He has been featured in USA Today, Food Arts, The Washington Post, Washingtonian, Beer Advocate, All About Beer, Imbibe, Draft and Mid-Atlantic Brewing News.
Live Music at the Saratoga Brew Fest:
The Dead Spartans – A five piece classic rock band singing songs from The Rolling Stones, AC/DC/ CCR, The Ramones, ZZ Top, The Clash, Van Morrison & The Kinks.
The Rodeo Barons – Chris Carey‘s new local band. A Schenendehoaw High School grad and Suny Oneonta Alumni.
The Rhythm High – A six piece roots rock band out of central New York fusing creative songwriting and unique musicianship into a can’t miss show!
