The City of Albany presents a free summer concert series with Alive@5. This week brings the sounds of Rhythm and Blues featuring Boyz II Men.

Known for their capella harmonies, Boyz II Men’s very first single reached No. 1 on the Billboard’s Top 100 in 1992 with “End of the Road“. After topping the charts for a record breaking 13 straight weeks, Boyz II Men exceeded that record later in the decade with hits “I’ll Make Love to You” and “One Sweet Day” with Mariah Carey. Now they return to the music scene with a full worldwide tour.

Opening up for Boyz II Men is the Capital Region’s very own Soul Session. With a high energy and spirited ensemble, Soul Session emotes supernatural passions from material by Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley, Bill Withers, and many others. Every show manifests a creative classic/neo musical flavor.

So, come out to the Albany Riverfront Park at the Corning Preserve and enjoy great weather and terrific music.
