Envy Lounge Annual White Party
Traditionally, Labor Day is celebrated by most Americans as the symbolic end of the summer. The holiday is often regarded as a day of rest and parties. Similarly, some teenagers and young adults view it as the last weekend for parties before returning to school. Forms of parties include picnics, barbecues, fireworks displays, water sports, and public art events.
Another tradition surrounding Labor Day is the end of wearing white. Wearing white in the summer was simply a way to stay cool, but not when it comes to Envy Lounge. Wearing white symbolizes one of largest parties of the year. This year Envy Lounge welcomes back students from the area colleges with their annual White Party.
White shirts, white skirts, white shoes… No matter how cool you tried to be, this is one real hot party.
