Lakehouse Halloween Party 2011

It’s that time of year again. Halloween!!

Join Chris, The Lark Street Bid, and about 500 friends for the ultimate Lakehouse Halloween Party. $20.00 dollars gets you all you can drink beer & wine and a great time.

Mandatory costume, no exceptions. There will be great music and a lot to see as always. There will also be prizes for best costumes.

You can pick up admission tickets at either Wolff’s Biergarten, The Barrel Saloon, and The Pearl Street Pub. Just ask the bartender on staff to give you as many tickets as you need. You pay your 20.00 at the door that night.

You could also go to www.thebarrelsaloon.com and click on the purchase tickets link. You will be put on a prepaid list. Limited amount of tickets so get them ASAP. The party goes from 9PM to 1PM.

I am SO glad I went to this event! I hadn’t gone in prior years but a few of our friends were telling stories about how great it was when Matt B. ran it. Needless to say between waiting for over 30 minutes for a beer (which we ended up not even getting), the venue running out of wine (around 10 pm – a whole hour into the event), coats being lost in the coat-check, lack of space to move, dance or prevent anxiety attacks, and generally a poorly organized event – we had a blast! Afterwards that is – once we left. $20 may not seem like a lot (compared to the $50 that some people actually paid at the door) but last I checked $20 for open bar (wine and beer only – sorry beer only because wine ran out – wait I mean no drinks only because you couldn’t even get to the bar tenders) and a crappy time is way too expensive. Next year my plan definitely won’t involve this party – unless Matt is planning it again.

I agree 50 dollars to get in without a ticket and wine ran out a hour after the party started and miller light woulda been nice if you could actually get to the bar after waitin 45 mins in line and not moving we left deff not goin next year we actually had more fun at pearl and it was free to get in!!!!

That was the worse experience ever! I’ve been to the Lake house parties before they were great. this one sucked! Hope you change host again…. Because clearly this was unorganized C
